Elana Harte enjoys a successful career both in writing and performing. A gifted guitarist and vocalist,
the Montreal-born songstress maintains a “New Country / Rock” flavour and mass appeal.
As a solo performer, Elana has released 4 CDs (Heart, Soul and Song; Father’s Daughter; Split; Like Water).
Elana has had her music featured on compilations and soundtracks as well as garnering many songwriting awards
(International Songwriting Competition, Songwriter Universe Magazine,
Unisong International Songwriting Contest, Great American Song).
Elana is a founding member of Vinnick, Sheppard, Harte, with whom she has released two recordings:
My Favourite Shirt and And They All Rolled Over.
She is busy as a freelance writer, producer and session musician, and brings her award-winning song writing ability to the V-Girls,
a trio that included Kim Sheppard and Heather Bambrick.
The latest project is Soundwire Sundays, a monthly afternoon hosted by Elana
featuring three sets with two featured artists. This is held at
The Out Lounge and Eatery in the heart of Oshawa,
540 King St West.
2010 saw the beginning of M Factor... A Monday evening presentation by Hartfelt Music held weekly at
The Old Nick 123 Danforth Avenue, Toronto.
About to celebrate one year and going strong.
Mondays have definitely become the new Friday on the Danforth.

Elana was the producer and creator of ONSTAGE: Thursday Nights @ Slack’s,
a weekly showcase of Canadian and International performing songwriters in downtown Toronto.
This event became a mainstay for featuring new and established artists.
After 3 years Elana and Hartfelt are branching out to provide
more opportunities to showcase the many talented artists Elana works with.
Currently she is working on pre production of her 6th solo release due January 2012
Elana is working with several established and well known artists co-writing.
Perhaps a collaboration CD will be soon to follow!
